The only reason most people here lower credit limits is to increase odds of IA on their next application.
When it comes to Chase business I never lower limits, I cancel the card and transfer the credit to my INK then have Chase move credit around to get my next business card.
I lowered my Marriott Business card to $1500. Never use it, don't intend to use it, will close it after I've had it for a year.
As for credit utilization "could quickly become an issue" - business cards don't show up on personal credit reports, do they?
