Data point: I killed a bit over an hour in the TK IAD lounge today [first time visiting any non-UA lounge domestically, was originally aiming for the LH lounge but stopped at the first place I saw the *A signage] due to shenanigans in the A gates for IAD-GSP that left me too much time to idle in the gate area, but not enough time to make the trip to C/D and back worth it [see also my posts today in the "In the Moment Compensation" and "Delayed/Canceled Flights" threads].

Had my UA Club and 1K/*Gold cards handy, but the lounge agent just took my BP asked her colleague "Can....?", got a nod, scanned my BP and in I went.
