However, I am about to move and will be switching to an Alaska Airlines hub, should I just book my new flights to Alaska and earn miles there, even though Membership rewards don't transfer there? Or should I credit my flights to Koreas Airlines Skypass, I was also thinking of British Airways but, they only give 50% on a discount economy ticket. Any thoughts would be helpful so I can maximize this new airline.
What are you objectives from a ffp?
Does AS fly where you want to go? Or do other airline fly also where you want to, even if by a transit airport?
What do you use the ff miles for?
You could get an AS linked credit card.

The airline you fly most or an airline of the country you live is the best ffp for many people. Generally you are better earning on your primary airline due to greater recognition, better service when disruptions, ability to upgrade flights, possible operational upgrades and simpler to earn non flying ff miles/points.

FF miles are not equal to earn or burn. They are not always 1 to 1, even though many credit card's transfer out at the same rate.
BA is know for high cash surcharges on award flights
