I stayed at the Marriott Long Wharf last week.
The lounge is still closed. Instead they give you a voucher for a snack like clam chowder in the restaurant at night... and a buffet breakfast coupon for mornings. I arrived too late for the snack choice.
The breakfast was ok -- I did not see made to order eggs but there was scrambled eggs and a decent assortment of yoghurt, fruit, pastries and the such. Nothing spectacular but definitely better than most North American club lounges. I would prefer breakfast like this than in a lounge most of time in NA.
I was put in a renovated room which was fairly nice and well appointed. They gave Aromatherapy Associates toiletries which I like and thought was more of a JW thing.
Not upgraded to a suite but overall the room and amenities were nice. I actually did not have a good stay, however, as they messed up the wake up call time, the previous guest set an alarm (not fault of hotel but I wish housekeeping would check these things) that woke me up at an ungodly hour, and I had technical issues with the internet.
Hotel itself pretty good but the wake up call and ringing were serious issues for a jetlagged me.
