Rooms on the web site do seem more contemporary than the one I stayed in, so maybe they have done some renos or re-freshening.

So far I think I actually prefer AtoA to the Westin (which we’ve been staying at since the mid 1990s). Westin is slicker and closer to some good restaurants but it’s more impersonal- AotA has a boutique feel, and amenities I value (in this room at least) like an outdoor terrace. And weirdly, my “suite” at the Westin was a junior suite (no door between living room and bedroom) and my “junior suite” here is an actual suite. Go figure.
