I will be doing a 4-week assignment in NYC and my corporate TA booked me a room at the World Centre Hotel.

As I've never stayed at this place, I looked for reviews online. I found bipolar opinions: some reviewers said wonders about the hotel, while others claimed it was dirty and the showers didn't work properly.

For a short stay I'd just roll with it but I'd hate to be stuck in a dump for 4 weeks straight. Has anyone here ever stayed at this hotel? How does it compare to the big chains (e.g. Sheraton Tribeca)?
