In the past, LATAM (probably when it was just LAN), permitted a double open jaw. It did require 2 segments, but they could be two totally different legs (e.g., LGA-DCA, MIA-MCO). I don't know if this has changed, but the program appears to be different.

I'm not sure I understand the above, I'm looking to book an open-jaw award on American from NYC-EGE/ASE-NYC. Would this be possible? Could I convince them that ASE/EGE are co-terminal (50km apart) or does that not matter?
