I think this issue goes back many years. Probably to when online seat selection was introduced. Some even claim the issue was there even before the airline was.

So far I have not heard of a single person who was able to actually reserve them online. I think the usual statement was: We are working on it.
If it is true that it is a problem that has been around for a long time, it can help me to continue and I focused on other things. But I still think that they should solve it.
