Did you book your flight through the AC web site or through an online travel agent?

Do you know what kind of fare it was labelled (was it "Standard" or "Basic"?).

The extremely fine print on the Aeroplan website says that K earns 50% if a "Standard" fare and 25% on a "Basic" fare but then there is a tiny footnote saying "Economy Basic fares on Europe only", which probably means Economy Basic earns zero zip zilch from Asia.

I do suggest you go back and ask for clarification.
