I agree, although on at least one of the Titan flights I've been on the crew announced that the toilets are at the REAR of the aircraft (front toilet wasn't mentioned), presumably to try and prevent people coming forward too much. It didn't really work though. 1A/C you also get barged into if seated early whilst others are boarding, and you're facing the crew for take off and landing. Finally the lockers above 1A/C on Titan are full with crew stuff, this isn't the case for 1D/E. Bulkhead legroom in 1D/E is similar to BA so I would definitely go for that.
