My wife and I each have the Barclay Aviator Red credit card.

One of the benefits is "first checked bag free" for primary card member and up to 4 customers travelling with him/her.

Does anyone know if this is for each leg of an itinerary or 1st checked bag of the whole roundtrip itinerary? The terms and conditions doesnt make it clear.

The card's anniversary date is coming and I am pondering whether to cancel the card or not.
If it is first checked bag free on each leg of an itinerary, then it means the $95 fee would be negated by two domestic trips. (assuming both my wife and each have a checked bag).
If it is only the first checked bag free on an itinerary, that would mean I would need four trips and that is not happening in one year timespan.
