In post #5 , the AA phone number is listed as "+1-800-259-4506". For numbers dialed within the USA it should be 1-800-259-4506, NO + sign. To dial a number from outside NA to the USA you would first add a +1.
That post would be directed at "foreigners" dialing to the USA.
Lots of "toll free" and web addresses are purchased by scammers etc. which are close to "official" numbers/addresses. Example: I was dialing 1800-VERIZON, but accidentally dialed 1-800-VERISON and got to a number telephoned related.
