Thanks to all for taking your time and effort to share your knowledge and suggestions. Trust me, if we could shift days, we would. However, I left out the only reason we are traveling, which is a Sat-Sat Med cruise. For that savings I would consider going in another day early (Wed) since we're staying the only ground night on Marriott points, but holding over until the following Tues. is not an option. (This would be a great idea if we were doing the Barcelona-Rome cruise, but it's even more expensive and I'm already at my max.) Sigh.

I did look at driving to either Cincy or Ohare, but so far haven't seen any notable difference. So for now I'll keep my eyes peeled, because after flying business to Europe once, I can't fathom going back to economy!
