Well, I just did a trip last Friday, arriving at LAX on OS with a 1:45 hr connection to the UA flight. While it might be correct that they are not even selling a ticket with less
tank 2 hrs connecting time, in my case it happened since the original flight scheduled at 6 p.m. somehow got shuffled around in the summer schedule and UA switched
me to the earlier flight. I felt a little jittery and as luck had it we arrived and rolled straight to the remote stands. We did arrive a little early, that helped. Waited for the bus
which took an eternity to arrive and load pax. Luckily we stopped right at the entrance to the Customs Hall and therefor made up for lost time. Then we encountered a
really long line moving very slowly towards the exit where the slips need to be presented to customs. A quick luggage re-check and we went outside to catch the Terminal
shuttle bus. I think Kacee had warned me in another thread to avoid the re-check at TBT. Also the OS boarding pass didn't identify us as PRE, so I reprinted the boarding
passes at T 7. Ended up in the lounge with 45 minutes to spare. Guess we were lucky.
