That's what I would do. I might take a quick look at TBIT security line, but it's generally not a pretty sight. There's also transit security in TBIT, but they don't have true Pre and I'd rather just do the short walk to T4.
Nope. Your LAX-SFO BP and *G status will get you into *A lounge. Arriving BP will not.

Tangent: I noticed a couple weeks ago that the main TBIT security had large 'Pre' signage next to apparently empty lanes. That was all to the left, if facing security to pass through it. Of what I saw, only flight crews were using the area, but I did not try to figure out if a regular passenger with a Pre BP could use it.
Anyone know? Is this new? I don't recall there being any Pre anywhere in TBIT, but I avoid that main checkpoint as a habit.
