The connection wouldn't be airside, BTW; you end up landside after you exit customs. You can go back through security at TBIT and then walk to T7, as opposed to taking the inter-terminal shuttle, which is what I think you meant.
Thanks again for this. And apologies for my continuing confusion: So, it's possible to do an airside connection from TBIT to T7, but if arriving at TBIT it's not possible to do that in reverse. Do I have that right?

Connecting to a 10+ daily flight, 1h30 would be well within the Sensible Connect Time, even if it here violates MCT
Correct, as a general rule.
I believe you should be able to call, but I'm not sure on this one.
For a Sunday morning, small but not impossible especially on an E75. However, if you are having trouble finding X space, then I space will be much, much rarer. And domestic I space would likely only be in the weeks before departure.
You should have access to the *A lounge in TBIT if you are UA*G. I don't know when the Centurion Lounge at LAX will open, but that is in the works as well.
Thanks for all this. Yes, I'm an UA *G. Looks like the LAX Centurion Lounge won't open until 2019, after we transit on this trip, but it's good to be reminded about that anyway.

Thanks yet again, Kacee. Sorry that I'm so unfamiliar with the LAX lay-out. But if I understand you correctly, and assuming I end up simply buying the UA LAX-SFO tix for the 10 am flight:
1. Upon arrival we must exit TBIT in order to connect to UA domestic.
2. We walk to T4 and go through security there (presumably because it will be less crowded than going back through TBIT?)
3. We then use our SQ boarding passes as proof of international travel on a *A carrier, in combination with my UA *G status, to access the TBIT Lounge.
4. We then walk airside from TBIT to T7 for the LAX-SFO flight.
Do I have that right?
