Agree. Although to be fair, you didn't just pay £391. It was more like £700... £391 upgrade fee plus roughly £300 (half of your £600 roundtrip) plus 20,000 Avios.
We recently flew Emirates First Class from ATH-EWR for £231... plus 85,000 Skywards miles.
