Just booked 50% sale solo trip 1way HKG-LHR A380 3rd Oct as 10k & EUR35. Looked and I got alloicated a standard seat = 21A which I need to swap to one of the FT researched recommended A380 Y seats. On a night flight UpperDeck Window Exit is usually a better choice so can get up without impacting the neighbour

Both Main/Upper virtually fully open, just 5x recommended (premium) seats taken up (plus usual blocked bassinet seats) 20EF, 35BC , 71K, 82K, 83K. I guess fliers below status BAEC-Silver booking in the sale won't want to pay the gbp65/85 Main/Upper deck Seat reservation fees.

So my decision to make
o Never flown Y on BA A380, though did a few on SQ LHR-SIN when A380 first came out many years ago, where I liked upper deck A/K though Exit row seats are narrower seats (luckily I am ok here) ,
o Not sure about 25D throne seat ? Since only the one seat this type, temporarily grabbed it, but will I probably release+swap to UpperDeck Right window seat.
(although shows "missing 24D" space goes to 25D, I guess 25E legs may try to intrude and 24E will maybe try to put bags there or kick my legs when exiting during flight, (as could 25E) )
o Highly likely I swap to Upper Deck (Right window seat), so should I take 70/80K exit row ? Is one of 70k, 80K better than other , eg I should choose 80K mini rear cabin?
