I had to get my passport in a hurry about 11 yrs ago so went into the passport office so they could do it the same day. Had to wait four hours after my appointment and when I got it they'd spelt my first name wrong. I rushed back as they were closing and they said don't worry about it! Any way since then I've used the new spelling on all my official docs and now my name really is Liza not Lizie
