We aren't talking about publishing your account information in the papers but giving it to a person so that said person can make a payment. I really don't see how else BA could pay a claim. Cheque? I haven't been using those for decades. Reimburse onto a credit card? Worse than giving them the bank account info. Sending cash by mail or carrier pigeon?
