Ah! This is probably an oversight by AA, and a PITA, but as there’s no PE in the chart I’d try

a DM to <at> AmericanAir on Twitter or

an e-form to AAdvantage Customer Service

so I’d get a reply I can quote (or appeal and have a reply I can quote if the first answer is “no”) if AA doesn’t grant EQ instruments or Award miles.
