We are flying BRU-LHR on Friday July 20. We have 90 minutes before our next flight to Boston. I have asked and received answers in another thread about how doable the connection is and we should be fine. But since it is the start of our vacation and we basically have the whole day to get to the airport and tend to be early anyway I figured I would ask BA if they would consider putting us on the 15.30 flight rather than the booked 16.25 flight. I Asked via a dm on Twitter. Explained I would have wheelchair assistance at Heathrow but just to be sure “how about putting me on that 15.30 flight and make everybody’s life easier”. But nope, apparently fare rules were against it and if anything went wrong they will put me on the next flight to Boston. I know they will but off course would rather not as we will arrive in Boston at 9 pm as is I would prefer not being on the last flight.
Too bad, it was worth a shot I was hoping BA wouldn’t care too much which BRU-LHR we are on. Are these summer Friday afternoon flights so full? What if we would show up in time for the earlier flight, any chance staff in Brussels will put us on it? And if so, what time would we need to be there?
