Excessive excess luggage fees
Hello from the BA section of Flyertalk. I work for a company and we have a media team based in OTP. We choose Lufthansa to fly this team places as it usually works out well and is more reliable than other airlines based at OTP.

Anyway. They are flying Economy OTP - MUC - BCN next week and we need to book 3 extra suitcases. I was shocked to discover that Lufthansa wants to charge 80 Euros each way per Extra suitcase. Last year I remember we paid maximum 20 euros.

Is this correct? What’s the most efficient way to take extra luggage on Lufthansa today?
