Why would a late fee generate on a closed card?
Was it because you canceled the card to close to the payment due date, hence the cancellation was not processed in time before the system considered the AF was not paid on time?
The late fee was not from the cancellation of the card, that went through fine. I was late one day on a stupid $20 payment. One day! I should have known better. Apparently this late fee notice stays on the system for six months and there is absolutely nothing I can do.
