The Ritz Carlton card will have the same earning structure as the new SPG Luxury Amex card, effective August 26, 2018. The rewards agreement has been updated to reflect this. Details and link below.
For purchases that post to your account beginning
August 26, 2018, you’ll earn:
- 6 Rewards points for each $1 spent on qualifying purchases made at participating The Ritz-Carlton locations, participating MarriottŪ locations, and participating SPG locations.
- 3 Rewards points for each $1 spent on purchases in the following rewards categories: restaurants; airline tickets when purchased directly with the airline; car rental agencies.
- 2 Rewards points for each $1 spent on all other purchases including purchases for stays at The Ritz-Carlton Destination ClubŪ locations, Charter Rewards points or payment of annual Destination Club program membership dues.
The current 10% Points Premium will only be on purchases through the statement close in August 2018.
You’ll earn a 10% bonus on all new Rewards points earned with your The Ritz-Carlton Rewards card purchases starting after your December 2017 closing date through the billing cycle ending in August 2018
