And, yes, they use VOIP calling services so the costs to the hotel are minimal.
With VOIP, phone calls are dirt cheap. I remember when we'd get monthly phone bills at week to pore over, question people, spot abusers, etc. Now with everything costing pennies (if that) we don't even bother.
