Have some Air Miles I would like to use up, 1000 which happens to be good for 2 days of car rentals.

Question: When booking through an OTA portal (in this case the Air Miles redemption website specifically), can you still choose your own car in the Emerald Aisle if you reserve at National? I always book direct and never use OTAs for anything if I can help it...
