Agree, if nothing else because they don't want AA getting the route authority to fly to HND. Unless there was a time limit, if DL decides to not fly MSP-HND specifically then it goes back to DOT for reassignment.
Exactly. I just don’t see DL giving up the HND authority. If and when they could get more, then maybe they’d give up MSP, but as it stands, I don’t see them going with LAX as their only HND gateway.
