I quite honestly didn't even think about pulling my RPU in hopes of a CPU because of the number of them I have. I just tried and failed on a SFO-PDX last week, it was peak hours/days but was still a bit surprised as I have had luck on this route before. I have to work in Hawaii so going there isn't an option but usually I can get people to come over with me and stay at my place. This time virtually no one wants to go. FWIW, I have not been upgraded yet on my return and will still let the RPU ride on that as well.
