Moderator Changes/Reassignments

A heads up on some moderator changes and reassignments. We've had a few members earn large promotions at work and it takes away from some of the time they can devote at FlyerTalk. We're frankly peoud of those members and their work success.

New Moderator(s):
We welcome Carnarsie to the role as a moderator in the Delta forum. Even not being a moderator he has shown great interest in helping others. Please welcome him.

Moderator Changes:
Bruce (bdschobel) has moved from the Delta forum to moderating the Marriott forum. Changes in travel choices as well as a true volunteer spirit, help me appoint our first Moderator to this forum.

Jennifer (techgirl) is going to take a much needed break from moderating CommunityBuzz! and the Women Travelers forums. One of my very first volunteers, we all know she'll continue to help anyone and wish her nothing short of the best days of health and happiness ahead.

Patrick (pallensf) is going to take a break from moderating the Trip Reports forum. He earned a large promotion recently and sadly, it has sucked his time for us up! We say sad because he's been a real trooper and we certainly are very proud of his success - we knew him when.

I'm trying to work out what might be best for a few more moderators in select forums. As you know, we're not getting any smaller and even some of the smaller forums are starting to need volunteers to help. At the end of the day, what I've always said remains quite true - FlyerTalk would not exist except for the kind assistance of our Moderators whose first and foremost role is to help members navigate FlyerTalk.

If any of you are interested, we're looking for volunteers to help out in the Air Canada forum, as well as Travel Security and really just about anywhere. I know some of you previously had submitted your interest to help - unfortuately I learned about the 40,000 email limit in Entourage a little too late and all my email from earlier this year became corrupted. I apologize that you may not have heard from me and Bill Gates has heard my voice rather clear on this issue. Yes I know, June and i already hit 40,000 plus emails I've yet to get to. Such is the life of a frequent flyer mail man.

Thanks to all those moderator volunteers who have served us awell and congrats and thanks to those who continue and who are just starting out.
