I've tried this before. You can check luggage and collect boarding passes at B arrivals for UA flights, but it seems like the TSA checkpoint to the B4x gates is usually pre-check lite and everyone goes into one line so it's not really a timesaver. Add in the wait for the bus and you're probably worse off than going to C, which I find to be relatively pleasant these days. Suppose YMMV.

(the UA maps seem to indicate a check in counter on Arrivals level) along with Delta (which doesn't have one listed on the departures level)
If I can't check luggage and just do carry on would TSA have any issue with this?
Lately Terminal C has been a disaster with Pre-Check, just trying to think if this would be a good alternate..
