And two separate JFKHKG flights on Thursday (today is Monday) are F3 and have an award available.

Hence, I'd suggest nothing has changed, and you should exercise patience. Could always be a function of J being overbooked in your case.

The last few weeks seem to have seen a reduction in close in award availability. I'm currently booked in J, leaving in 3 days and the flight is F3. Historically, CX has released at least one of those seats to awards. Anyone know what the new "policy" is and if I should expect one of those F seats to open up?
