Since I'm flying mostly Alaska these days I guess it won't matter, but the option is sure nice. I hope Alaska doesn't follow Delta in this regard, and require flying on AS flights for lounge access. For several years I have purchased a Sky Club membership and carried the AMEX Plat card, with these redundant benefits. Now, I have no reason to purchase the Sky Club membership.
