If you had said, the view is the primary interest, I would have advised to go ahead and try to negotiate a cash supplement for lounge access -- the view is great. The food is ok, but nothing special. Beats most US lounges, but not very strong by Asian standards. Hong Kong has amazing food everywhere, so I wouldn't pay for lounge food.
