I can recommend

for dinner

- Haskral Hatay Sofrasi, which is located in Aksaray and close to the Metro. No Alc is served, but its a great place to have dinner with your family. For more information visit: Haskral Hatay Sofras? - Lezzetin ba? tac?

- Refik'in yeri, which is in Asmalımescit/Beyoglu and is a pub/tavern, which serves mostly fish and good fish. Serves alc and a lot of alc. Its a small place tough.

- Divan Brasserie, which is located at the end of Istiklal and has a great view over the Golden Horn (from the 30-places-terrace only). You can sit there for hours.


for breakfast:

Anywhere in Bebek, great view to the Bosphorus; I had breakfast in Mangerie and loved it!
