Is BOS stuck forever with 1x 77W?
Emirates started with one daily 77L at Boston before upgrading that flight to a 77W and then to a pair of those each day.
What happened next happened to several cities: BOS went backwards to one daily 77W. Which really is fine if that's what the BOS-DXB market will bear.
But we continually hear chatter about these reductions being reinstated, and nothing (or next to nothing) has really happened.
I keep suggesting that a way for BOS to get more seats (if it really needs them) is to switch out the 77W for an A380. Or, if B6 likes the double-daily feed, one 77W + one 77L.
What's the likelihood of anything new happening on not only the BOS route, but SEA as well (since both cities seem to parallel each other as far as EK is concerned).
