Is the info in this thread still accurate? I’ve got my card but my wife doesn’t. I recall being told we’d NEVER need the card at the interview except at ports. Guess that’s not correct. Leaving soon home so wondering if we should allow more time.

Ive never done preclearance here in Canada, do we go through it before checking bags or after?
