The only such letter I've gotten was a note left in my room when I checked into the Hilton Arc de Trimomphe, and there was a little card left from the guest services manager thanking me for my stay, and to call him if I had any problems. I was only a Silver VIP at the time, too.

Quite a constrast to me checking back in to the Hilton Green Park today when the guest services manager here was checking me in, and wasn't sure if I got a free breakfast or not as a gold .

Also, all my usual BT Openzone-capable rooms are booked... last time I give away a tip like that on FT!
