To be blunt, I didn't think it would interest them either but thought it was worth asking the question if anyone has experience of it, while I'm investigating this trip.

I would normally travel in business but I don't like to waste money and at the moment except for an ex-DUB multi-hop trip with United (an airline I'd rather not use and I don't really have the time for the multi airport hoping this trip), there isn't much on offer. I did spot this DL codeshare on VS in PE which whilst not a bargain is OK and I would be prepared to do, especially as if I check the load on EF it looks like the PE might be oversold whilst there is space in Upper. My experience on BA in these situations is as a gold you stand a good chance of a bump up, so hence the question on status matching. Hope that clarifies the motivation for the question.
