Hi,
I cannot find the answer here, but Mods please move this if it is already in a topic.
I'm considering booking CI LGW-TPE-SE Asia rtn in Business Class for Decemeber 2018. Both the outbound and return legs have a 12 hr and 14 hr overnight stopover in TPE, respectively. Does a CI Business Class ticket include hotel stays for stopovers of these durations? In Decemeber 2016 I flew KE LHR-ICN-AKL Business Class and the return had a 19 hr overnight in ICN and my ticket included a stay at the ICN (Grand Hyatt if I recall correctly).
Thanks
There should be some wording in your ticket rule that has:
NOTE -
STPC APPLICABLE IF CONNECTING FLIGHT EXCEEDS
6HOURS AND WITHIN 24HOURS MUST TAKE FIRST
CONNECTING FLIGHT 1ST STPC FOC IN BOTH DIRECTION.
STPC CHARGE ADDITIONAL GBP60 FOR 2ND NIGHTS.
BUT MUST NOT EXCEED THE STOPOVER RULE ABOVE.
You will need to call and request it. Therefore, if you don't understand the ticket rules, the best option for you is to call CI and ask their agent if your ticket offers STPC since you will need to arrange with them regardless.
