Greetings fellow FT-ers,

Spouse is organizing, for the first time, a huge annual conference where the hotel chosen typically grosses 250k in income minimum. Spouse informs me no prior organizer has negotiated points or status for choosing one hotel over another (not sure I buy this but ok). Spouse informs me then that "that one you like, Hyatt" is a top contender hotel (spouse is, in general, bored by FF programs and leaves it up to me to mattress run, make credit card spend/offers etc to keep HH Diamond and Hyatt Globalist. Spouse and kids enjoy the upgrades though).

I rub my hands. 250k I think. I look at WOH T&C's and note that if you organize 20 meetings you get Globalist. But what if you organize one really big meeting, can you get multiple year of Globalist? How can I convince spouse to ask for Lifetime Globalist or at least a few years of it? Who would spouse ask?
