Vueling allows your standard 1+1 hand luggage (55 x 40 x 20 cm carry-on and a smaller bag 35 x 20 x 20 cm). I've never seen them weigh anything, and I doubt they would in BIO, assuming you check in online and go straight to the gate. If you're boarding in the latter part of the process, your bag may get gate-checked.

In any case, if you're on time, 9:10AM to 11:50AM (the check-in cut-off time for AA) is more than enough even with bags and even if your flight is 90 mins late.
BTW. You should be able to check in online for AA as well. If you do and have your BPs, just go through passport control and straight to your gate.
