Rode my bike out on the coastal trail to watch her land near Kincaid Park this evening...the wash from the wake felt different than the non-scimitar winged 737s. Didn't seem to have the same (fast) landing speed as the 737-9s. Anyway, cool plane and a great firstish route to stretch her legs on.
The standard flap setting for the MAX for landing is 40 degrees. The 800/900s are 30 so they have a little faster approach speed. Good eye.
