There is a Qf code share from AKL to PPT and according to the web site it seems to be saying that as long as it has QF flight # and it is on an affiliate of QF that it should work.Does not say it has to be a OW affiliate
To be honest I find the distinction between OWE and Global explorer some what confusing.

Closer reading of the OW web site ( and it says nothing about Global Explorer fares) and I see that I misunderstood Affiliate and partner- they are not necessarily the same thing.
While QF may have aflight # (#3343)between AKL and PPT and while QF and Air tahiti Nui may be partners ( Are they I do not know) , the rules seems to suggest it has to be an affiliate if not on actual OW metal
Sot It looks like I will have to pass up PPT on this trip- darn!!!
