My recent OLCI experience has been patchy to say the least - but in all but one situation, it's been a quick swipe of the passport at the airport and I've been on my way, BP in hand.
The other situation was an SSSS to the US.
I didn't get offloaded, downgraded or any other misfortune so I wouldn't worry if I were you, especially as neither JNB flight appears to be full in any class today.
