Air Canada flight booked through UA website -- Party of 3 traveling with a 2 year child. Website wanted to charge me to select seats however a quick call to Air Canada and they assigned seats for no charge. The agent clarified that if you're travelling with a child under 12, you can in fact select your seats for free.
