Hmm so just measured my carryon that I've been using for years on 22 x 14 x 9 airlines with no problem... and it's way above 22 x 14 x 9 on every dimension (closer to 22 x 16 x 10 I think).

Mind. Blown. Always thought my carryon is compliant but apparently not.
