Found this old thread while looking for info about Companion Awards. Does the award have to be on CX metal only? Was thinking of HKG-LHR on CX then LHR-KEF on BA (and return). Doesn't seem to allow on Asia Miles website but want to double check.

Pre-Jun22 award chart BA and CX are eligible for Round-trip First and Business Class companion award BUT mixed-carrier Awards do not apply (i.e. cannot put both CX and BA to the same companion award)
