Does Delta publish stats, or are statistics otherwise available, as to their various Medallion members as percentages of overall number of PAX (or even gross numbers of each Medallion Level)? I seem to remember someone recently saying that FO accounts for just 17% of PAX, so I imagine that percentage declines considerably as status levels increase?

I ask because DL claims to fly just shy of 200-million PAX annually. I don't know if that number is number of butts-in-seats, regardless of individual frequency, or if that number represents actual individuals (which I doubt). In routes I fly, it is not uncommon to see a dozen or more PAX with DM brag tags, plus probably an equal number who refrain from adorning their Tumi's with those gawd-awful tacky badges of honor (exempting, of course, Kryptonium and Unobtanium badge-holders ;-)

So, 17% of 200M is still a huge number. Even if that is really 50-100M pax with FFs, that means there are 10-million or more Medallions flying -- and apparently every last one of them flies my routes. ;-)
