Did this get merged with another thread? I recall the one you are talking about - he said that water suddenly (and spontaneously) came through his ceiling, landing precisely on his suitcase and ruining his $500 shoes, but this thread seems to be about an overfilled bathtub ruining a carpet from 4 years ago....?
